So for the 3D version, will it be in theatres? If so, will it be a rerelease or a rererelease?

***WARNING***
***SPOILERS BELOW***
I read the new Star Wars articles in this week's Entertainment Weekly.
Here's what I found out:
Lucas wants to re-release all of the Star Wars films to theaters in 3-D starting in 2007.
Apparently there probably won't be a final cut of The Star Wars series until Lucas passes on. (Kinda like ponyone.net)
Now for some Episode III spoilers:
Mace Windu meets his end by the hands of Anakin and The Emperor. There ya go Earl!!!
Count Dooku at some point gets his hand severed...
Anakin seals his turn to The Darkside by leading a death squad into the Jedi Temple.
The Wookies do a major deed for The Jedi (I think thats what it said.)
The first jedi appears from "the other side" Qua-Gon-Jin appears and speaks to Yoda...
There was a little more but thats all I remember - some cool shit though!!!

Seeing "spoilers" out a month and a half before teh film makes me wonder how much truth ther is to all of it. All of the "spoilers" seem rather predictable, and I am wondering if it is just a ploy to get fans to think one way, and be surprised when the film comes out. Or maybe I am think too much about this!
Also, for anyone out there who reads the books, "Labyrinth of Evil" is a good one, and chronicles events immediately before Episode III.

I feel as if I already know what's going to happen in the movie from all of the shit being published out there so that basically seeing the movie is just a formality. Then again, it's doubtful that Lucas would let so much of this movie be leaked out, so there has to be much more nobody knows about.

Wouldn't it be great if Billy Dee Williams had a cameo in this film?

I think it'd be great if at the end of the film you see Billy Dee Williams doing a Colt 45 commercial where Darth Vader shows up at Billy Dee's party. "I like to relax with a few friends, an evil Sith Lord and some Colt 45." A great scene would be Vader dancing with some black chicks and sipping a cold Colt. "You don't know the power of the Colt 45", Vader wheezes. "Luke....I am your father....and this is your beer! Obi Wan never told you the truth about your father.....he was an alcoholic and drank too much Colt 45!" Hilarity ensues as we see a cut scene of Anakin Skywalker passed out in an alley with empty Colt 45 bottles and kids drawing on his face. Bums are seen trying to steal his Jedi boots.

That would be even better is Jason ...oh my God... I can't fight it.... I love the cock... ummmmm tasty! would play the part of an evil Sith Lord.
The Duke's Star Wars Question of the day:
Before his death in Episode III, will Count Dooku turn to the light side, much as Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi?

Ok, that photo was a tad disturbing...we all know that the "ships" are often referred to as "women" or "she"...so what the hell were they using??? Strap on lightsabers? ? Anyway to answer the question of the day...I am going to have to go with no on the Dooku turning ti the light side of the force before he dies. To me if he did it would kind of take something away from Anakin`s about face. Plus I just don`t see the need for it since I think that Anakin is going to kill Dooku to take his place... Of course thats just my opinion...I could be wrong THIS I COMMAND

Does anyone else get the feeling that as much as we already know about the movie, there's even more that we don't know about? I really hope so, because I'd like to think that this one's a classic at least near to being on par with the original trilogy, as impossible as that may be.

I agree that there is much that we probably do not know about as of yet. I also have a feeling that many of the rumors that are out and about concerning Episode III could possibly be false/distractors designed to get the audiance to think one things, and to be more surprised/impressed by the film.
I also agree with Bartlett's answer about Dooku...it makes sense that Dooku wouldn't turn, now that I am thinking about it more.

While I am at it, I decided to post another question of the day, just for kicks.
What secondary Star Wars character is the most important? In other words, is there one character that the films could not do without?

Original Trilogy = Boba Fett (like I would say anyone else!!)
New Trilogy = Mace Windu (he is the more badass version of Yoda...you know Yoda can kick your ass, but Mace is the baddest mutha fuckin Jedi that side of the galaxy)

I've read "Labyrinth of Evil," now I'm a good ways through the novelization of "Revenge of the Sith." For that reason, I'm not going to reply on any of the spoiler or speculation posts. Too much knowledge, I have. What I will answer is that Anakin received the burn wound near his eye during the Clone Wars when he battled a so-called "Dark Jedi" minion of Dooku's named Ventress. A "Dark Jedi" essentially is a rogue Jedi that's being engulfed in and using the powers of the Dark Side, but is not yet absorbed in it enough to be a Sith.

Labyrinth of Evil is a good read! I also have orderen the Episode III novelization, but plan to put it on the shelf until after I see the movie the 1st time.
I am also going to "Star Wars Weekends" at Walt Disney World over Memorial Day Weekend, and plan to come back with postings of pictures, and a full report. Rumor has it the Lando Calrissian himself, Mr. Colt .45, Billy Dee Williams will be making an appearance.

Well, I finished reading the Episode III novelization not long after awakening the evening following Mav's celebration, and I must say, if the movie is executed even half as well as the story was told in the book, this one stands to be the best Star Wars film of them all.
