I have started a new blog that I will use to post my movie reviews from now on. I plan on doing a lot more than you can read in the paper. So far, I've only posted an introduction and a review of "The Ruins," but I have a lot of ideas. Hopefully, I will stay motivated enough and have the time to keep it up. I think it'll be fun. My review of "Street Kings," starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker, is online. It's getting mostly negative reviews, but I enjoyed it. I'll have at least one more review online tomorrow. Also, looking ahead to next week's reviews, I saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" last night and it's another great comedy from the Apatow Company.

For a little change of pace, my latest post is about the new DVD from comedian Mike Birbiglia, "What I Should Have Said Was Nothing." He's one of the best comedians I've seen in a while.

Two new reviews are up: "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "The Forbidden Kingdom." Both movies are enjoyable, especially "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

I'm still regularly posting reviews over on my blog. If you haven't kept up with it, recent reviews include The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, Step Brothers, The Dark Knight and Hellboy II. Pineapple Express, which opens Wednesday, is up next.
