POISON To Release '20 Years Of Rock' Collection In AprilBecause You Can't Stop Rock... and one greatest hits album is never enough!POISON, one of hard rock's most iconic, enduring and controversial bands, celebrates 20 years in 2006. To commemorate this anniversary milestone and the band's career tally of more than 25 million albums and DVDs sold around the world, POISON and Capitol/EMI Music Catalog Marketing have partnered to release "The Best Of Poison: 20 Years Of Rock" on April 4. The new 18-track collection packs POISON's biggest hits and fan favorites and will also debut the group's explosive new version of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD's "We're An American Band", produced by Don Was (THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN). In May, POISON will hit the road for a major 20th anniversary summer tour sponsored by Live Nation! and presented by VH1 Classic. With the band's most recent studio album, "Hollyweird", along with "Poison Greatest Hits", which just reached double platinum, and their gold-certified "Greatest Video Hits" DVD, POISON continues on with a do-it-yourself attitude, also touring to sold-out venues around the world. Following a 2003 VH1-sponsored tour, POISON co-headlined a national tour with KISS in 2004. POISON's 20th anniversary world tour will take the band to major concert venues around the globe this summer. Tour dates and line-up details will be announced and posted to the band's official website as they develop. Visit www.poisonweb.com and www.bretmichaels.com for the latest POISON news and links to other related websites. POISON frontman Bret Michaels recently appeared on the cover of Billboard and Radio & Records magazines for his recently released solo album, "Freedom of Sound", and his 2005 solo tour broke attendance records at several outdoor venues. Michaels' rootsy Americana style has helped the album's lead single, "All I Ever Needed", cross from rock to country airplay charts. Michaels manages his own record label, BMB Records, and he has also produced and written songs for numerous artists, including "Love's A Hard Game To Play" from STEVIE NICKS' platinum-certified "Timespace: The Best Of Stevie Nicks". Michaels has made numerous television show guest appearances, including "Yes, Dear" and "Martial Law" on CBS, "The Chris Isaak Show" on Showtime, and has been a judge on USA's "Nashville Star" and a co-host of the syndicated entertainment news show "Access Hollywood". He has also appeared on VH1's "Rock Bodies" with Beyonce Knowles, made Spin magazine's "Top 100 Greatest Moments in Rock", has appeared on the cover of Playgirl magazine and has had his ten-acre Malibu ranch featured on MTV's "Cribs". Premiering in March, the new season of VH1's hit show "The Surreal Life" features POISON's C.C. Deville with housemates Sherman Helmsley ("The Jeffersons"), Steve Harwell (SMASHMOUTH), Florence Henderson ("The Brady Bunch"), Tawny Kitaen (of Jaguar hood-writhing WHITESNAKE video fame), Andrea Lowell (Playboy TV), and the recently gender-swapped Alexis Arquette because you always need a post-op tranny to boost ratings! In April, Rikki Rockett will make a guest appearance on TLC's new "Wrecks To Riches" auto overhaul series, helping to restore a 1969 Dodge Dart before giving POISON's new version of "We're An American Band" a spin on the car's amped-up sound system. Bret Michaels Needs Your Help!POISON singer Bret Michaels is tired of being shot at, and he's asking for your help. Back in November in Massachusetts, someone fired a weapon at him that shattered a window on his tour bus, and a similar thing happened last week, when a window in his car was shot out while he was driving in Los Angeles. Michaels told Launch that he hopes anyone with information on what's happening will come forward. "I'd like to believe it's random, but it's getting pretty scary at this point," he said. "And I'm not a fearful person of much of anything — meaning I'm not a person that lays down and says, 'That's it. I'm not doing nothing.'But at the same time, this is also my family, my daughters — there's a lot of other people involved — so anything that would lead to any information would be very helpful." Michaels has no idea who's behind either shooting incident, but he told us that there's one person who's been under scrutiny for quite a while. "The FBI's been investigating a guy by the name of Mark Kram," he said. "We cannot figure out who this is, because obviously it's his name spelled forward and backwards. They've been investigating that since the early '90s. And we've gotten so many death threats, and they've become weirder and stranger over time, so it's pretty scary." If anyone has any information, Michaels asks that you send it in through his website, bretmichaels.com. POISON released a new greatest-hits set this week called "The Best Of Poison: 20 Years Of Rock", which includes their cover version of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD's "We're An American Band". They'll join up with CINDERELLA for the "20 Years Of Rock" tour from June 13 to August 25.

BRET MICHAELS Is Looking For Woman Who Can Keep Up With His Rock 'N' Roll Lifestyle
Hot on the heels of VH1's record-breaking hits "Flavor of Love" and "I Love New York" comes a fresh new take on this wildly exciting relationship show. Known as the bandana-clad, blue-eyed lead singer/songwriter from one of today's legendary rock bands, Bret Michaels has been handpicked by VH1 and producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego to take this series to all new heights of rock 'n' roll insanity! The hard-rockin' POISON frontman is looking for a woman who can truly keep up with his rock 'n' roll lifestyle and not become jealous of his one true passion — performing which has been the reason for and destruction of most of his relationships. As VH1's hottest eligible bachelor, a bevy of beauties will vie to win his heart in the new series "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" premiering in July. With twenty years of continuous multi-platinum success, sold-out tours and a couple of high-profile relationships that never led to the altar, Michaels is ready to wear his heart on his sleeve. The series will focus on the never-before-revealed private side of Michaels. With that said, the casting executives have received an overwhelming response from female fans of all ages. Residing with Michaels in his Los Angeles rock palace, these women will be tested on their devotion to him and their love and understanding of all that is rock 'n' roll. To help narrow the field, Michaels will put these women through various challenges. The ladies who win these challenges will join Michaels on some wild and exclusive excursions, while those who can't hang like true backstage VIPs will be escorted out in bona fide rock star fashion. Whether it's partying on the tour bus, jetting-off to a sun-kissed beach, or hanging with Michaels' celebrity friends, this 10-part series follows these lucky ladies on the rollercoaster ride of their lives. They'll all get a taste of living the rock star life, but in the end, only one lucky lady will win an all access pass to his heart. VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" is created and executive-produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, who also produce the record-breaking "Flavor of Love", "I Love New York", "The Surreal Life" and "My Fair Brady". Ben Samek also executive-produces for the company. The production teams' programming launched VH1 into their highest ratings ever and their ratings continue to outperform their previous successes. Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly, Leah Horwitz and Michael Hirschorn oversee the series for VH1.

I've seen the show a couple of times now and basically it's a bunch of crazy bitches fighting over Bret Michaels...and he makes out with all of them! Just turn on VH1 around 11pm-12am and you'll see it.
It's a lot like Flava of Love with Goose's boy, Flava Flav.
Anyways, I highly recommend that Mason watch either show..

POISON Guitarist Planning Solo TourPOISON guitarist C.C. DeVille's MySpace profile has been updated with the following message: "At this time C.C. Deville of POISON and VH1's 'Surreal Life' is accepting dates for his long-awaited solo tour in development at this time to kick off mid-to-late October through November. "We hope you will find this exciting as this is the first solo tour C.C. has done in many years and is ready to rock your establishment at a reasonable rate plus rider expenses. "Coming off the heels of a national tour with the group POISON ending September 3 in Atlanta has been a journey that has gone on now for 21 years and the fans are still gravitating to see this great band over and over again each year. C.C. has many songs that have not been performed on the tour and then there are still some crowd favorites that will all be sung during his solo show in person for more of an intimate crowd/setting. POISON's BRET MICHAELS: 'I'm Above Average - I Measured It' Bret Michaels is featured in the September issue of Blender for the mag's "Hot Report 2007", where the POISON singer was asked to give a hot rumor about himself. "The best one I read was that I was extremely well endowed," responded the partner in Pamela Anderson's other sex tape. "I'm not going to put John Holmes out of business, but I'm above average. I measured it, just to make sure I wasn't lying to myself." As for whether troop surges are hot, Bret said, "I come from a military family. I'm a huge supporter of our troops. However, I think the agenda over there is a crock of sh**. It's a losing situation."

BRET MICHAELS: More 'Rock Of Love 2' Details Revealed Bret Michaels is charged up ready to embark on the new season of "Rock of Love". The first season of the controversial series propelled VH1's ratings to new heights as it posted the highest ratings of any show on the network. "Rock of Love" continues to be the #1 most streamed content on VH1.com, and the finale of the series attracted a staggering 5.4 million viewers. The second season, which airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. EST on VH1 (beginning this Sunday, January 13), promises to include even more mayhem and controversy! The series will include contests such as a baby-stroller roller derby, the second annual Bret's mud-bowl where the girls compete to win a date with the singer while playing football in the mud, and a greased pig contest in which the girls must catch a bandana clad pig. "I don't know of anything that can predict a long lasting relationship like a greased pig challenge!" Michaels said. The women who competed for Bret's heart in season one made one thing very apparent from the very launch — they hunted Bret, and they were willing to do whatever they could to win his heart. Now, twenty new women will lay it all on the line for their opportunity at the supreme rock-and-roll romance. And this time, it will be bigger and better than ever, because as any rock fan knows — the best part of any rock-and-roll show is always the encore! Over 3.9 million total viewers tuned into the "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" reunion show and watched as Bret and Jes (the woman he picked, but who walked away) parted ways after she proved she was not fit to handle Bret's rock-star lifestyle. According to Michaels, "The first season worked out really well, and it turned to be a lot of fun the first year and since things didn't pan out with Jes we decided to try it out one more time, to see if things work out and I can find that one special rock and roll girlfriend." VH1 and 51 Minds Entertainment informs that they will give these twenty sexy, saucy ladies a chance to prove they have what it takes to win Bret's heart. After moving into a super-sized rock star mansion, the women will be put to the test. Each week, they will have to prove to Bret they are worthy of sharing his spotlight. They'll show off their own special talents, and demonstrate their mental and physical ferocity in an effort to win some much-coveted one-on-one time with Bret. Can they go all out in the high-adrenaline activities Bret loves, and still clean up for a sexy nightcap? Can they work together to protect Bret's progeny from a group of crazed super fans? And perhaps most importantly, can they fend off the fierce competition from the other women in the house also vying for Bret's attention and affection? In the end, only one lucky girl will win this multi-platinum rock God's heart, as Bret Michaels will choose only one lucky lady to be his "Rock of Love".

Bret Michaels to release "Rock My World" in April 2008VH1’s hit reality show Rock Of Love With Bret Michaels 2 is not only a mega success itself taking the top spot numerous times on all of cablevision, but it’s bachelor star has recently hit the network airwaves with special guest appearances on television’s top talk shows like Regis & Kelly, Ellen, and the Conan O’Brien Show. In addition to those accolades, late night television staples such as David Letterman and Saturday Night Live have also given a nod to Rock Of Love with featured skits. SNL scored some of its highest ratings that week, they did a 10-minute Rock Of Love sketch that was dead on perfect. One publication cited the great imitation as a definite indication that the SNL staff had to be avid Rock Of Love viewers since they did such a great job with it! Not only can you see Michaels on Rock Of Love this spring but you will also be able to read all about his life this fall when the singer’s much anticipated authorized autobiography is released by renowned publishing house, Simon and Shuster. You’ll also be able to see Michaels in an all new light when The Biography Channel premiers its Biography on Michaels set to air April 5, and when Fox airs their special celebrity edition of Don’t Forget The Lyrics featuring Michaels in May. A solo album titled"Rock My World" is set to be released in April and the singer will be touring in support of the album starting this March. Rikki Rockett Reportedly Arrested on Rape Warrant
TMZ.com and LA Daily News are reporting that POISON drummer Rikki Rockett was arrested on a rape warrant issued out of Mississippi as he arrived at LAX after getting off a flight from New Zealand, police said.
Rockett (born Richard Allan Ream), 46, was arrested Monday at the airport and booked into the Los Angeles County Jail, according to Los Angeles police and the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Inmate Information web site. He was held on a strong-arm rape warrant stemming from Neshoba County, Missisippi, and appears to have been released from L.A. County custody, the Sheriff's Web site shows. His status today could not be confirmed.
Details about the warrant were not immediately available.
Rockett and singer Bret Michaels -- high school classmates -- founded Poison together. He was in New Zealand to reunite and perform with other original members of the band at Rock2Wellington, a huge heavy metal show.
