FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Frontman Joins Cast Of 'Bled' Horror MovieFIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is Uncle Snake tested, Pony One approved!FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH vocalist Ivan Moody (ex-MOTOGRATER) has joined the cast of a new horror movie "Bled", which is set to begin shooting in May. Ivan will play the creepy "Incubus" that's invoked by a substance known as 'strigios, a rare and ancient sap that bleeds from a long forgotten tree. Sai, the story's main character, descends into a dark mythical world by inhaling a small wisp of smoke from the burning sap, where she will face a beast (Ivan) hidden in the guise of her darkest desire. This creature will use her blood to gain in strength, and use her lust to cross over from its world to ours. "Bled" is being produced by Jeffrey Allard ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning"), directed by Christopher Hutson ("Butcher House") and written by Sxv'Leithan Essex. A fall release is expected. Asked how big of a challenge it is to play the monster, one of the lead roles of the movie, Ivan said, "I've been playing one in real life since I remember… " FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH may contribute a song to the soundtrack, but this has not yet been confirmed. As previously reported, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has pushed back the projected release date of its debut album, "The Way of the Fist" (American Royalty Records), to June 12 from the previously announced April 3. "The Way of the Fist" was recorded at Next Level Studios with Stevo "Shotgun" Bruno (PRONG, MÖTLEY CRÜE) and at Complex Studios with Mikey Sarkisyan (SPINESHANK). Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY). FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH describes its music as "true metal... undiluted, raw as metal was always meant to be. In fact, for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH it was important that everyone involved at any stage of this recording was a diehard metalhead." For more information, visit: www.myspace.com/ffdp

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Forced To Pull Out... Of ALL THAT REMAINS Tour
Due to concerns regarding vocalist Ivan Moody's throat, Snakecore True Metal rockers FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has canceled all live performances through March 7. Ivan has developed calluses on his vocal cords that, if left untreated, could lead to permanent damage. The band offers sincere regrets to fans in the markets that they will not be playing, and promise to make all efforts to get to those cities during one of their many upcoming outings. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH: Giving Away Free Track To Fans
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH — the Los Angeles-based band featuring ex-W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, former MOTOGRATER vocalist Ivan Moody (Ghost), ex-U.P.O. guitarist Zoltan Bathory, former DEADSETT bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer — has announced the upcoming release of a special bonus song called "Never Enough".
The track is available for free download exclusively to fans who have already bought or will buy the group's debut album, "The Way of the Fist". To execute this giveaway, fans can go to this location (https://secure.digitalinsert.com/competition.cfm?promotion=482), put their CD in the computer and there they will be able to download the song for free!
But why release a song now rather than wait for a new album? As FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH relates, the band wrote the song during some time away from the road and didn't want to wait for their next album to get the song to their fans. "We will be touring for the rest of the year, so we won't be releasing another album in '08," explains Bathory. "We're all very close to the Knuckleheads and didn't want to rip them off, so they won't have to buy the record all over again — whoever owns the album can download the song for free." Vocalist Ivan Moody agrees: "We were really excited about the song, and rather than waiting a year or two to release it on a new album, we figured we should get it out there for everyone to hear as soon as possible. We're going to be on some kick-ass tours all this year, so we won't have time to record again for a while. Once we wrote this song and had a window to record it in KORN's studio, we jumped at the chance."
The technology used to get this song out there is called "PUSH." PUSH technology's ability to provide new content — even to fans who had already bought the album the day it came out — offered a simple solution for DEATH PUNCH. "In today's world, you can release something almost instantaneously," says the band. "That's the beauty of it."
"The Way of the Fist" will be re-released in May with three bonus tracks on the album — "Never Enough" and two additional songs not previously on the record.

Every once in Ronnie Meigs a while I run across a good timberland boots article... so I decided that, since 'Abbys Good Stuff' was using so little of the discount timberland boots web space that I already paid for, that I'd use up some of that space and grab some of the best cheap timberland boots articles I read and reprint them here. This is a new thing, but it will grow. The timberland mens boots articles and editorials I choose will be on a wide variety of subjects - the only thing they will have in common is that I liked them when I read womens timberland boots them and somehow got permission to reprint them here to share with you. I'll try to add at least one new one every week, and of course you can send a timberland outlet suggestion if you have, or know of, a good article that I could add.
