Since parting ways with SPEED KILL HATE in 2006, vocalist Mario Frasca has kept busy writing, producing and putting together a brand new band called EVINCE. In addition to Frasca, the forcible lineup consists of Finnish guitarist Jani Hentila, bassist Jussi Heikkinen (Gloomy Grim, Soul Grind) and drummer Rainer 'Raikku' Tuomikanto (ex-Dead Shape Figure).
The debut album, Abandon Belief is currently being streamed on the bands myspace page. The album is 11 tracks of brutal thrash metal, unrelenting and intent on delivering a beatdown to the listener.
Upon speaking about the album's completion Frasca also states, "I am totally stoked about my new band and music. All of us get along so well and click like family. The entire album from start to finish makes me want to drive really fast or break some fucking shit." Frasca goes on to add, "This record is total aggression full on and I'm totally proud of it. We really can't wait to get on the road and get a chance to play these songs in front of an audience."
While Frasca tracked his vocals and guitars at Two Dogs Studio in Toms River, N.J., the majority of the recording process took place at D-Studio in Finland with engineer Jarno Hänninen (Twilight Ophera, Insert Remedy, MyGrain). The album was mixed by Mark Lewis (Kataklysm, Daath, The Black Dahlia Murder, Chimaira, DevilDriver) at AudioHammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.
As a special bonus, guitarist Roope Latvala of CHILDREN OF BODOM and producer/guitarist Jason Suecof of AudioHammer Studios also make guest appearances shredding some killer solos on Abandon Belief.
