I'm glad you liked BR, and it's true BRII bites. I'll be sending you Ichi The Killer, Irreversible, and some other stuff soon. Maybe one of those will be a Pick-O-The-Week also.

Keep an eye out this week kids... with some time off from work I will likely add a few "Picks of The Week" to keep this board rolling... on with the show... CALL OF DUTY 2: BIG RED ONEAvailable for: PS2, XBOX, GAMECUBEOfficial Site: www.callofduty.com/bro/For WWII shooter fans the CALL OF DUTY series is an exercise in excellence…at least on the PC. Last year’s console effort FINEST HOUR left a little to be desired as parts were glitchy, and the action felt a little flat. This year’s entry, BIG RED ONE, however, is everything that game should have been and more, with dynamic FPS gameplay, superior graphics, and an excellent storyline and mission structure. As before, you bounce around different battles as different soldiers as American and Allied troops during WWII. Here, however, the level structure is better defined, as new objectives are easily spelled out for you and can be accessed via an on-screen pop-up accessed by a button press on the controller. The action is just as frenetic as before, but control has been tightened, making shooting and laying down fire a breeze, and as realistic as possible. Foes even get up if you strike them in a non-lethal area, attempting to kill you before you finish them off. The graphics are possibly one of the biggest draws here, as this is hands-down one of the best-looking WWII shooters out for consoles today. The single player missions stand alone as some excellent missions, and the multiplayer modes offer good online combat as well (on PS2 and Xbox). There’s really not much more I can say other than the game is fantastic, and if you’re a fan of WWII first person shooters, this title is a must own. ONLINE MADNESS!There has been talk amongst people in the crew of playing this online together. Interested parties are Chief, Stomper, Muthagoose De La Roche and Cerebral Paulie aka PMX. Remember that aside from the adapter PS2 can be played online for free! Christmas is coming kids! Note: Do a google search with "call of duty + big red one" as the keywords and check out some of the awesome screenshots.

THE WEDDING CRASHERSYou know it, you love it and you can't freakin' live without it... 'The Wedding Crashers' finally brings Maryland's Eastern Shore to DVD... The Plot: Divorce mediators John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey are business partners and lifelong friends who share one truly unique springtime hobby--crashing weddings! Whatever the ethnicity of the wedding party--Jewish, Italian, Irish, Chinese, Hindu--the charismatic and charming duo always have clever back stories for inquisitive guests and inevitably become the hit of every reception, where they strictly adhere to their proven rules of wedding crashing to meet and pick up women aroused by the very thought of marriage. At the tail end of another successful season of toasting brides and grooms, Jeremy learns that the daughter of Treasury Secretary William Cleary and his wife, Kathleen, is getting married in what is sure to be the Washington D.C. social event of the year. After infiltrating the lavish affair, John and Jeremy quickly set their sights on two bridesmaids, Claire and Gloria Cleary. With the lavish reception in full swing, Jeremy works his game plan to perfection in seducing Gloria, but John's flirtation banter with Claire is unexpectedly impeded by her pompous, Ivy League boyfriend Sack. Having uncharacteristically fallen hard and fast for Claire, John convinces a resistant Jeremy to bend the crashing rules and accept an invitation to an extended weekend party at the Cleary family compound. Once at the palatial waterfront estate, John and Jeremy endure a multitude of comical mishaps at the hands of the dysfunctional members of the Cleary family, but also learn a few unexpected lessons about love and relationships. DVD Features:* Available Subtitles: English, Spanish, French * Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround), French (Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround), Spanish (Unknown Format) * Commentary by director Rowdy Herrington * Commentary by Road House fans Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier * "What Would Dalton Do?" featurette * "On the Road House" featurette * Trivia track Editorial from Amazon:One of those movies that helped usher out the era of action films that had plots that made any sense (and also helped reverse the direction of Patrick Swayze's career arc), Road House concerns a handsome, existential bouncer in a rinky-dink honky-tonk who owns both a degree in philosophy and a Mercedes. And that's perhaps the most believable aspect of the whole movie. Swayze stars as Dalton, "the best bouncer in the business," who runs afoul of Wesley (Ben Gazzara), the meanest SOB round these parts, by taking up with his former girlfriend, Doc (Kelly Lynch)--the only woman in town with an IQ approaching double digits, even if she had unfathomably hooked up with such a lowlife. Swayze had complained about being typecast as beefcake when this was made, but that didn't stop him from revealing as much skin as possible--even guys like him, as revealed in a luridly seedy scene in which one of Wesley's goons tells Dalton that he reminds him of the kind of boyfriend he had in prison (albeit in much saltier terms). It's so insulting to its audience that it's nice to be able to turn the tables and laugh at the filmmakers. - - If that wasn't enough action... This unexpected sequel to the camp-cult favorite Road House delivers much of the same fast-n-furious action as its predecessor, though die-hard fans (and they're out there) might miss the over-the-top dialogue and plot devices that earned the original its reputation. Patrick Swayze, who starred in the first Road House picture, is nowhere to be found in the sequel--instead, it's Jonathan Schaech as a DEA agent with a connection to Swayze's character who comes to the aid of his uncle (Will Patton in a rare non-villainous role), the owner of a Louisiana bar that's come under siege by a local drug dealer (Jake Busey, who chews scenery with vigor). What follows is a barrage of bar brawls and room-wrecking stunts as Schaech takes his rightful place as the world's toughest bouncer. Suffice it to say that if you own the first Road House movie (or at least watched it more than once), you'll find the sequel a worthwhile follow-up.

In the Pit with Piper: Roddy Gets RowdyHere, in his own words, is the story of one of the greatest wrestlers ever-Rowdy Roddy Piper. The bagpipe-playing legend and legendary actor gets down and dirty about the world of professional wrestling-and his own career. He takes readers back to his life as a teenage runaway and his first match, when he stepped into the ring for $25. He recalls his triumph as the youngest World Light Heavyweight Champion, and how he helped make the World Wrestling Federation the phenomenon it is today with little more than a microphone stand and a bow tie. From a man who joined the game long before it emerged as big-time entertainment comes a story that tells it like it is-and that's filled with as much excitement as the jam-packed arenas where he fought his fiercest foes. - - Until next time... "Stay Strong" and "Keep Doing What Your Doing". Dare To Dream - Muthagoose Escobar

STAR WARS TRILOGYThis 2005 three-disc edition of George Lucas's Star Wars Trilogy is basically the same set as the 2004 edition minus the bonus fourth disc. That means you get the three original films--A New Hope (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Return of the Jedi (1983)--in their brilliant-looking and -sounding DVD glory. That means you also get both the changes that were made for the 1997 special-edition versions as well as the revisions that were made for the films' DVD debut, including Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) being added to a scene in Jedi, Ian McDiarmid (the Emperor) replacing Clive Revill with slightly revised lines in Empire, and Temuera Morrison rerecording Boba Fett's minimal dialogue, plus some other small details. The discs don't qualify as bare-bones because they do include the commentary tracks recorded by Lucas, Ben Burtt (sound design), Dennis Muren (visual effects), and Carrie Fisher (Leia), plus Irvin Kershner added for The Empire Strikes Back. But what you lose is the fourth disc's 150-minute documentary Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy, the three substantial featurettes ("The Characters of Star Wars," "The Birth of the Lightsaber," and "The Force Is with Them: The Legacy of Star Wars"), the Xbox sampler, the no-longer-exciting Episode III preview, and other odds and ends. Star Wars aficionados will certainly stick with the four-disc set, but casual fans might be satisfied with this lower-priced version. Product DescriptionBonus Features: Disc 1: **Feature **Commentary by George Lucas, Ben Burtt, Dennis Muren and Carrie Fisher **Easter Egg - Credit Roll
Disc 2: **Feature **Commentary by George Lucas, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan, Ben Burtt, Dennis Muren and Carrie Fisher **Easter Egg - Credit Roll
Disc 3: **Feature **Commentary by George Lucas, Lawrence Kasdan, Ben Burtt, Dennis Muren and Carrie Fisher **Easter Egg - Credit Roll

Disc 2: *Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back / Episode V
Disc 3: *Star Wars: Return of the Jedi / Episode VI
