KORN, LINKIN PARK Singers Offer Advice To Bands: 'Find Your Own Style' - July 22, 2004
KORN's Jonathan Davis and LINKIN PARK's Chester Bennington recently spoke to Revolver magazine about the hundreds of bands that have copped their sound in the years since their came out with their first albums. "It fucking sucks," Davis said. "At first, it was totally flattering. The first time I remember was the SEPULTURA 'Roots' record, the one Ross [Robinson] did. I sat there with my fucking jaw on the floor, like, 'You gotta fucking be kidding me!' But I looked up to SEPULTURA way back when, so it was kind of flattering. Then a gazillion copycats copped the sound too. It makes music suck. It's like, go find your own fucking style. We found one. LINKIN found one. And Chester, if I was you, I'd be beating EVANESCENCE's ass."
"It's funny," Chester said. "I met them [EVANESCENCE] in the studio when they were recording their record. We were both recording in the same building. I was talking to [singer Amy Lee]. And she was nice. She said, 'We're having these problems. Everyone at our label wants us to be you.' I told her that's lame. She agreed. She said they went as far as wanting to ask Mike [Shinoda, LINKIN PARK's second singer] to do a part on a song. She said, 'We knew he wouldn't do it.' So they're running around trying to get guys in other bands to do it like he would. ' I told her to be herself and tell the label to put it where the sun doesn't shine. But the next thing I heard was 'Bring Me to Life' with a guy thatsounded just like Mike. It was a little upsetting."

Dear Jonathan Davis -
Your original albums ceased about 2 records ago. Why is this even being brought up? How many bands has immortal signed that sound like some other band? i.e. - Deadsy, Videodrone? Those ring a bell?
If sounding like someone else is such a crime? Why are you covering two songs for your greatest hits album? The "Head like a Hole" cover sounds exactly the same except for your voice from what I have heard on the live version...
And now to Chester... when Hybrid Theory came out they were at least 10 bands that were like it... can't remember an example off the top of my head but let's face it... your songs were better and you won the race.
Assclowns.
Sincerely -

Korn, at least, was somewhat original when they started, but they stopped being relevant a few years ago. The "nu metal" they helped start is dying a slow death, and that's a good thing for everyone. (Did anyone buy Limp Bizkit's last album?) Korn is still a decent band, but they've never been one I could sit down and listen to for an extended period of time.
As for Linkin Park, I got a good laugh from reading that Jonathan Davis said they found their own style. They are a band of nothing but bad cliches: rap (with really cheesy rhymes that we've all heard a zillion times before), whiny singing ... I've seen them live a couple times now (unfortunately), and it sounds to me like every song is written with the intention of it being a big radio/MTV hit. Look at how much they milked that first album. How many singles were there? It seemed like half the album. Then there was a remix album. Then a live DVD/CD. I know there are people on this board who like them, but I really hate this band. They're everything I really don't like, and the exact opposite of many of my favorite bands (BLS and Superjoint, for example).

I'll chime in on this as everyone knows, Korn was my favorite band back in the day.
Dear Jonathan Davis:
First of all, Korn's style was completely original when they came out - a perfect blend of rock/punk/metal. The debut album absolutely blew me away as it did with many others. They built on this style adding pop-like choruses and everything really came together on "Follow The Leader", one of the best hard rock releases of all time, but since then their career has taken a downward spiral. Instead of just sticking to their original style and building upon it, they've tried to steer away from the "nu metal" tag by putting out all different kinds of albums recently, just making them look and sound as stupid as all the nu-metal copies of Korn. Meanwhile while they are dicking around putting out crappy albums and going on stupid tours, many, many new bands have emerged - heavier, nastier, and more traditional metal bands - fast playing, distorted, violent vocals and most important - no rapping whatsoever. Why every few years does some rock band come out trying to start a new rap-rock movement???
In their defense, Korn's downfall is due largely in part to the 100s of "nu metal" bands that have come out the past five years, released an album and were gone in the blink of an eye...Reveille, Hed PE, Papa Roach, Orgy, and even Staind now to name a few. Korn has said over and over that they are done with rap, done with nu-metal and now they are on a crappy, rap-oriented tour like this??? Maybe Korn should just stop trying to sell millions of albums because they are just not that good at it - why not concentrate on making a good heavy album as one last chance to regain some (if any) of your original fans?, and then call it a day...
Dear Chester: Why Linkin Park is still around is somewhat of a mystery. They do have very catchy songs and a set formula of how they write. But Snake is right, all of these "cliches" are wearing thin and if this continues for 2 more albums or so, they'll be gone too.
So basically, Korn, Linkin Park - shut up - go on your stupid rap tour, have fun and if your not ever going to do anything good again (or ever), why not just go away???
In the meantime, if everyone is as sick of these bands as we are check out any of the featured bands on this site for some real metal.#nosmileys

KORN have set an October 11 release date through Epic Records for their upcoming best-of set, singer Jonathan Davis revealed this past weekend during an interview with Scoop of the Columbus, Ohio radio station The Blitz 99.7 FM. Several new cover songs have been recorded for possible inclusion on the CD, including PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick in the Wall", PUBLIC ENEMY's "Fight the Power", NINE INCH NAILS' "Head Like A Hole" (featuring a guest appearance by LINKIN PARK's Chester Bennington) and FAITH NO MORE's "We Care A Lot". A full-length collection of covers is also planned for release further down the line, according to the singer.
In the same interview, Davis was asked for his comment on the reports that EVANESCENCE have been performing a piano-led cover of KORN's "Thoughtless" during their current headlining tour. "Yeah, we did a couple of shows with [EVANSESCENCE] in Europe and [they] played it," he told The Blitz 99.7 FM. "It's a huge, huge thing when an artist thinks of doing a cover of one of our songs, it just blows us away, and she [EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee] does it so beautifully. She's told me time and time again that she's a huge KORN fan. What was really cool was that in Europe, they were supposed to headline over us and she refused to do it and made us headline over them. There's a just a lot of respect there. I think she's a great girl and I love that cover — it came out beautifully. The way I hear things in my head sometimes, the more [time I spend] in a heavy band, I'm more about melody and shit like that, so… when I heard [EVANESCENCE's version of 'Thoughtless'], it was really cool. The melodies really pop out."
Last November, KORN played a free surprise show at the legendary punk club CBGB in New York City and filmed the entire event for a half-hour MTV special as well as a possible live DVD. Asked if there were still plans to release the footage, Davis said, "Yeah, we had a whole camera crew with us. It's really cool. It shows the events leading up to the show and the actual show. It was the most brutal KORN show you've ever been to. It was down and dirty. It's CBGB's and it rocked. It was one of those legendary shows. It was cool to be backstage and watching the kids walk by to go to the bathroom. It was like no gig I've ever done before. We had to have our security guards as barricades pushing the kids back — people getting crushed. It was insane — people hanging off the rafters. It was just a really good time. And everybody walked out of there saying that was the best KORN show they ever saw."

KORN singer Jonathan Davis recently spoke to Westwood One about the video for their cover of CAMEO's "Word Up". According to Davis, the clip features the band members with their faces on a bunch of dogs. Davis' dog, named Ricky, comes strolling into Tijuana only to upset the local pack of dogs, played by the other band members. "They basically just sat us down in a chair and locked us in and we put this green hood over our face and just showing our face and did what we had to do," said Davis, "So it was really hard trying to perform without moving. It was all just facial expressions, so it was kind of difficult that way, but overall, it was really painless." Jonathan loved the final clip, calling it one of the best the band has ever done. "It's just all in good fun," said Davis, "Not so serious this time because the song isn't really serious, so we show the lighter side of KORN."
KORN's remake of "Word Up" is the first single off the group's upcoming album, "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1", due on October 5 via Immortal/Epic Records.

KORN frontman Jonathan Davis has told Berlin's heavy metal show "Stahlwerk" on Radio Fritz that the band will begin work on their new album in January 2005. The writing and recording process is expected to take up to six months, with a projected release date of fall 2005.
There are also plans for the group to release an album of covers, which may or may not include KORN's previously recorded versions of METALLICA's "One" and MORBID ANGEL's "God of Emptiness", among other selections. However, Davis stressed that the new album will take top priority during the coming months as the band prepare to issue the effort on their own after fulfilling their seven-album deal with Epic Records with the recent release of a greatest-hits collection. "Our label did nothing but produce and ship our CDs. The rest we did by ourselves," Jonathan said.

KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer has told Billboard.com that the band are planning on entering the studio in Janaury to begin work on their seventh album, tentatively slated for a late spring/early summer 2005 release.
"On Jan. 2, we're going to go back and finish writing our next album," Shaffer said. "We have about four songs we're trying to keep quiet, but you know how that type of s*** leaks [on the Internet], which is fine. "It's definitely more of a progressive [sounding] KORN," he added.
Having recently included covers of CAMEO's "Word Up" and PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick in the Wall, Parts 1, 2, 3" on their Epic/Immortal set "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1", Shaffer hinted the Bakersfield, Calif.-based five-piece are working on a covers EP, with a tentative title of "Korn Kovers", for a possible April release.
"We threw out a lot of ideas and came up with a handful of cover songs that we recorded like NINE INCH NAILS' 'Head Like a Hole' and the PSYCHEDELIC FURS' 'Love My Way'," Shaffer told Billboard.com. "And we really want to do OZZY OSBOURNE's 'Diary of a Madman'." Released in October, "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 392,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Also in the works is a late winter/early spring live DVD release featuring footage mainly from this past summer's Projekt Revolution Tour.

KORN have commenced work on their new studio album with producer Dallas Austin, who has previously worked with TLC, MADONNA and MICHAEL JACKSON, among others. "The writing is going really good, we have wrote [sic] at least five songs already," KORN frontman Jonathan Davis said in a Jan. 28 online posting. "It's really tight, heavy, headbangin' shit.
"We are now working with Dallas Austin, he is one bad-ass producer — one of the best we have ever worked with. We are doin' some crazy, heavy, trippy shit with him.

MTV.com is reporting that guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, a founding member of KORN, has left the band and has rededicated his life to Christianity, according to the group's management.
"KORN has parted ways with guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, who has chosen Jesus Christ as his savior, and will be dedicating his musical pursuits to that end," a statement from the band reads. "KORN respects Brian's wishes, and hopes he finds the happiness he's searching for."
The announcement puts to rest weeks of rumors that Welch was unhappy with KORN's direction. On February 8, he had apparently written a "letter of resignation" to the band's management. In the note, Welch detailed a long list of reasons for leaving the band, including increased moral objections to KORN's music and videos. In particular, he was upset by how he was portrayed in the clip for their cover of CAMEO's "Word Up", off their recently released "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" album. In the video, Welch's face was superimposed on a dog patrolling a strip club.
Welch plans on further explaining his decision to leave KORN this coming Sunday, when he'll address the congregation at the Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield, California. And on February 28 he plans to leave for Israel.
KORN are currently in the studio working on a new record, which is due in stores in September.

Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has defended himself against accusations by KORN singer Jonathan Davis that he has embarked on a "false crusade" by leaving the band to focus on Christianity. In an e-mail sent to MTV News, Welch said he still loves his KORN brethren, but that he was beginning to bristle at those who doubt the sincerity of his transformation.
"Sorry Jonathan, my 'false crusade' was not the reason I left KORN, it was what saved my life," Welch wrote. "I still love those guys to death, but if anybody trashes God, I am human and will defend Him and myself by any means necessary."
Welch's solo CD is close to being completed, and he added that he's just finished one instrumental track called "A Letter to Dimebag", which he wrote in tribute to the late guitar legend.
"It's a guitar-solo instrumental," he explained, according to MTV News. "I wrote it for Dimebag because he always used to tell Munky and I to put guitar solos in KORN's music."
Another track which may or may not get released is — as Welch described it — "a personal letter to 50 CENT from God."
"The Big Guy speaks through me a lot when I write, and I have a song for 50 CENT I wrote in the Holy Land. I feel like it's a personal letter to 50 from God, so I'm going to give it to him personally and see what his reaction is," Welch wrote to MTV News. "If it's a positive reaction and he's willing to talk to me, then I'm not gonna release it, but if the reaction is not positive, I'm going to share it with the world."

Dear Pone... it only gets weirder.... Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's official web site, HeadToChrist.com, has been updated with a brand new interview with Welch. Read on: Q: Brian, few weeks ago, you felt so desperate that you wanted to die. You even asked God to end your life. What was God's answer to your cry for help? Brian "Head" Welch: "Mathew 11:28 and to me it's God saying, 'Come tell me and seek me with all your heart and I will take away all of your pain inside and will never judge you because I love you and all I want is for you to come to me with everything in life first.' I'm also getting another tattoo on the other side of my neck called Matthew 6:19 which is also my birthdate. That verse basically says 'Don't store your treasures on earth and don't worship money or fame like it's God.' So with that said, I'm funding my life story to glorify God and I will put it out somewhere in the near future. And again, I will not keep any of the profit. I'm gonna be like the Osbournes but it's focusing on me and God and how much of a sense of humor I have with him but also how much i obey him. For example, the Jesus tatoo on my hand keeps me from masturbating and I haven't been with a woman since my ex-wife left me almost five years ago. I go to those extremes to be like Christ and it works for me. I'm moving my own camera crew in my house on Monday. My goal is to glorify God and show the world how much fun this life is. So I invite everyone in the world to get some popcorn and sit back and watch how he uses me to glorify himself. God rules and believe me, everything I say to you, 50 CENT, or whoever it is, I'm also saying it to myself probably even more! I never said I was perfect and I fall everyday like every man, paster, preacher, woman, child, whoever, we're all human." Q: In your testimony at the Valley Bible Fellowship, you say the Lord has told you He's tired by the way the world is going on. What would you say to people who don't know the love of Christ, and to those who seek happiness in things that cannot fulfill them? Brian "Head" Welch: "Christ is the end to all suffering, including loss of loved ones, guilt, suicide, perversion, drug abuse, child abuse, murder, etc." Q: You've just come back from Israel where [pastor] Ron baptized you in the Jordan River (along with about 20 members of your church). Please, tell us about your experience. What has it done for you? Brian "Head" Welch: "I'm at peace with myself and instead of being afraid of my own shadow I fear nothing but the Lord. He is the quarterback and I am the football." Q: Brian, you are the single father of a 6-year-old daughter. Is your faith making a difference in your relationship with her and with others in general? Brian "Head" Welch: "Yes I am slowly becoming the best dad in the world because my father in heaven is teaching me. And I don't judge people anymore even if they judge me first. It's God's job to judge. Everyone needs to quit trying to be God, including myself. We're all little kids at heart and we don't need to grow up. To me, it's boring to be grown up. Your heart keeps you young no matter how wrinkly you get....ha,ha." Q: You're starting a solo musical career and have created a new website. What are your plans to use your musical gifts for God's glory? Brian "Head" Welch: "I don't know if I'm still a musician. I do know I am a soldier for Christ. I ask god to put me in trials so that I can move up in rank faster than any man on earth when I pass the trials. He has rewarded me with answers to my prayers. He now sends me to different pastors to get different things off every one of them, because every church has something different to offer and they all judge the other in some way or another....every church judges. The book of life says it's not our job to judge it's God's job. So when I wake up in the morning I ask that He uses me to glorify Him more than any man in history. Whether it's through music or not, I don't care either way, so I don't know my plans because my plans aren't my plans they're His. I know I'm new, but the power of prayer is very underestimated. God has blessed me with insight to the big picture, because I live my life with Christ all day every day. I call myself 'of the way' of Christ now. And that means I'm a child of God. A REAL Christian or child of God loves all males and females the same so much that they're willing to die for any person. That's me. I feel like our flesh (earth suits) are our devil. All my life's desicions are made from divine inspiration from God. He has all power..... I have none. And I guarantee that almost every person that is now trippin' on me and mocking me, will be following me in a few months. Then they'll soon relize they're not following me, they're following Christ. This all surpasses the human brain. Our brains have failed us and now it's time to think and listen with our hearts. That's what I pray for. Watch what happens. Smile and 'head to christ.' There is some time left but only our heavenly father knows how much... and I submitted the answer to that in prayer too. 'Keep the wind in your face and the sun on your back.'"

I can't describe how im feeling right now," Davis writes on his www.ButtSexCrips.com web site. "Pirate is healthy and Deven is doing great. It's a trip. Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has posted the following message on his HeadToChrist.com web site:
"Hey ya'll Jesus psychos out there. I want to welcome you to your new site. This is not about me. This is about the lord 100 percent. This is your site as much as it is mine.
"As you know, 2 & 1/2 months ago, I was begging to die and it wasn't from drugs. It was GOD calling me to come to Him. I feel like I was put in KORN to witness every trick the enemy does with music in this world in order to turn my knowledge around to glorify GOD.
"The time has come for the lost children of GOD that got abused by parents, peers, family members, society, teachers, churches or whatever else in this messed up world, to put on body armor for the Lord and claim this country for god without feeling fear from public ridicule. He will bless us with strength in every way if we are loyal to Him so say goodbye to the quiet wimpy you. Ask Him to bless everything and everyone in your life that you want blessed, OR IT WON'T GET BLESSED. PLEASE HEAR ME ON THE POWER OF PRAYER. You people who have been lost are now found. You people who have felt like nobodies have now been put in a position to HELP change his-story. Our love for Christ has to be loud and done with love.
"As everyone knows, sometimes love hurts. It's on! Do not live this life for personal gain or you will end up on your face in confusion. Do not live this life to try and be GOD. We are the Lord's body, he is our brain. listen to him with your heart and don't let your brain get in the way. I WILL NOT FALL FROM MY WALK WITH THE LORD! EVER! I welcome all the positivity from this new life, and all the negativity too because the Lord shines through me as he does all of my brothers and sisters and will be our defender in every way.
"I love you all. Welcome to the army. Welcome to the family. Let's grow in Christ together. Nothing can stop us if we don't lose sight of who's runnin the show, know wutum sayin? We have all been givin the answer to the question of life."

From Head (formerly of Korn's site) www.headtochrist.comA LETTER TO 50 CENT I had to hunt down Jacob the Jewler in NYC to drop off this personal letter to 50. I also had to buy a piece of jewelry just to get back to see Jacob. It was a diamond cross and at least I gave it to an angel named Lisa who made my little girl the sweetest kid on earth. It was THE best trip to NYC of my life. It's funny how much you appreciate things when your happy and smart. You won't be anywhere near as smart as you can be if don't walk with the LORD. In a nut shell 50, your right when you said it's not your plan it's gods plan. All I know is, his plan is gonna work out for his favor. To start off I want you to know if you don't already that this world is not about you or I at all. It's 100% spiritual. Also I want to start out saying I love you and I would die for you just like I would for anybody on earth. We are all GOD'S children. We are all his prize possessions. What GOD did is let the devil use very loyal people like myself cause he knows once he brought me back home, I would be loyal to him like king david was. GOD sent us in to learn the devil's tricks so we could turn around and beat him at his own game. GOD told me there will be many attemps made to kill you by the enemy. If you die the enemy wins. The enemy's here in spirit to lie, cheat, hurt, steel, and kill. I'm just here to tell you a few things and I have no idea what the plan is. All I know is the wrath is coming for the world, and if you don't come home to God, you will get killed by one of the bullets that keep coming your way, or something else and you will never see GOD cause he will harden your heart so you won't even want to see him. I just hope that didn't already happen. Who gets the story for your glory? yourself? your alive because of GOD and GOD only. GOD can change your heart not me. I'm just a messenger. Again, this life is 100 % spiritual. The devil sends evil spirits into people's minds to make them want to do harmful things to themselves and/or other people. For instance some fool shooting at you to kill you. Your a huge force for the devil right now. He's gonna put demons around you that tell you I'm crazy and that GOD is for punks or whatever it takes to convince yourself that your money, fame , and power are things you should worship. I don't know if you're supposed to live or get smoked only God knows the future. Like I said, I'm just a messager. GOD is telling me to tell you to come back to the kingdom. Or stay brain washed by evil spirits and get murdered. He loves you and nothing you've done can kill that love. Either you'll think I'm crazy, or listen to me and help me change the world around to glorify GOD. All I know is GOD told me to tell you He loves you and play time's over and it's time to come home. He said He's been with you keeping you safe this hole time. He's the reason why you took nine, not because your superman. He says those who feel like life is one event of torture after another will be blessed and will inherit many rewards in the kingdom of heaven if they turn their life around to glorify him. But I feel like he's telling me it's time for you to choose now. 50 I've been in this game for over a decade and I aint crazy man, I'm a soldier for God. I don't know if you've ever walked with God, before but i'm telling you in the last days he pours out His spirit so heavy to his soldiers. He communicates to us thru any means nessecary. Just do one thing for me and he'll prove it to you. Just say " God, I don't know if this fool is crazy, but if he's not, show me that your real more than you ever have. He loves us 50. No matter what we did to betray him. I love you man. I don't know what your thinkin right now, but if you say that to GOD, I garantee you will be calling me asking me how I did that because he will speak to you. Just look for things through messages that only he would know about you. It could be thru conversation with a kid or adult, or in the word, or from tv, radio, magazine, a billboard sign or whatever. Everything is His so He'll use anything to show you He loves you. I invite you to call me and I'll fly out to talk with you anytime you want. I am a soldier for christ and I will do this alone with or without you and I will win with him on my back. people are gonna stop laughing at the thought of God because these are the last of the last of days and He's gonna take over all this crap now. How many times have you heard of a dark metal band like Korn losing a member to God? I'm the first of many in the music game . I invite you to at least get some popcorn and sit back and watch what he does with me. 50 your the best out there in the rap game and a few months ago I was on your jock harder than any of these fools. Actually since before your first cd I had your back. You have the power to not only change history in the biggest way ever in music, but you have the chance to be GOD'S front line soldier. My kid looks up to me more than she ever has in her life. Do you think your son would benefit from everything you've done in the world if you died today? Or would he spend his life defending you? Just because you had a hard life , it doesn't mean that your son has to serve your sentence. Your a leader 50. How much balls does it take to stand up and say, I've been a lost soul and now I want to do what's right for my child or children. Your son will look up to you like you really are superman I promise. You've been in the hood and out. Are you happy? Does life make sense? It will all come together as it did for me when you go home to GOD. I heard all you do is stay in hotels by yourself. I don't know if it's true, but I was the same way for 2 years until I wanted to die. Then He made everything in my life PERFECT. YOU PROVED YOURSELF THE BEST. WHERE DO YOU GO FROM HERE? KEEP TRYING TO SMOKE FOOLS WITH YOUR RHYMES? SOMEONE WILL COME ALONG AND KNOCK YOU OUT WITH RHYMES ONE DAY. IT'S JUST HOW IT IS, YOU KNOW THAT. WITH GOD ON YOUR BACK YOU WON'T HAVE TO GO THRU THAT LOSS BECAUSE HE WON'T LET YOU FALL THAT HARD IF YOU COME TO HIM FIRST. Picture your mother and GOD up there saying, "Please Curtis?" I've been chosen by GOD. You would be like a GOD to the hole world not just some thugs. I had what it takes, do you? I'm here for you whenever you want to talk. GOD is real. Christ is real that's why GOD named the land Israel (Is- real). They are still waiting for their messiah it's crazy. I stayed in Korn for ten years cause I thought money was everything, but as Biggie said, "mo money , mo problems." I know your feelin me on that. people would lose their minds if 50 went to GOD. All these kids would follow you like they are me, but by the millions if you did it. I feel that GOD's telling me the shots will keep coming until you either die like the devil wants or you switch sides. HE SAYS WISDOM COMES THRU SUFFERING. Again He says He loves you no mater what, but if you don't come home to Him He will hide His face from you for ever. GOD's gonna claim this world thru me and other people. It's gonna be a win win situation for me because look who's got my back. If I die doing this, I don't care at all. Who has the power to take our loved ones, even our kids from us at any given moment? That's right. if your kid or my kid was in a coma, who would we turn to....that's right? If you live til your 80 who do you think you'll be wanting to talk to on your death bed? I'm not waiting till then. 3 months ago I was begging GOD to take my life because I couldn't do it. Instead He made me the happiest man alive and I'm becoming the best father on earth too.I USED TO BE AFRAID OF MY OWN SHADOW AND NOW I'M WRITING 50 CENT A LETTER FROM GOD. THAT'S A MIRACLE. What kind of life is that writing about smokin fools for kid's to listen to? I pray that the spirit of confusion be lifted from you everyday because you are contradicting your self wearing a cross and rappin about that stuff. All these hoods are here because God thought if things get really bad and our people start dieing left and right, they would start runnng to the Lord. instead we laugh at GOD, and fight each other until the death because we're too cool to come to the Kingdom. It's completely insane. I love you brother. I'm here to be a messenger to all that His return is just around the corner. I'm also here to show kids that this GOD thing can be fun and cool. I hate my money because I love it too much. The LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil not just the money. Come on man call me up lets do this. If it's not meant to be then so be it, and i'll do it with my huge family in Christ which makes up at least 33% of this world's population. GOD is in control man, and with that said I fear nothing....... I can do anything now, because I'm not actually doing it......He is. This white boy from Bako is gonna take down gangsta rap because of one reason. your hurting people. You call it reality rap and I call it dwelling in negativity to make money. Is it worth seeing so many African Americans killing each other? With you and your "reality hood stories" around that will keep happining. Open Your eyes. Make the first move. Don't be scared to do what's right. Again......THIS IS FROM GOD AND IT'S ALL OUT OF LOVE. The key is OBEDIENCE.......NOW YOU CHOOSE. I fear no nobody and nothing but the LORD. GOD BLESS, Head

I really hate people who "steel". It's not nice to steel other people's things. I have no problem with Head leaving Korn because he feels like it conflicts with his religious beliefs. But when people start doing shit like this, it really makes you wonder how many drugs they have done. On the other hand, it'd be pretty scary if what he's saying is true. I wonder..............
